Watt & Shand Building Gutting
During the massive overhaul of the Watt & Shand building in the Central Business District, access was a nightmare. I watched standard tri-axle trucks constantly get stuck trying to navigate tight turns near Queen Street while pedestrians crowded the sidewalks. The site manager was losing hours every morning just trying to get debris cleared before the rush hit.
We brought in our hook-lift roll-offs that maneuver into tight alleyways without shutting down traffic. Instead of backing in blindly, our drivers positioned the bins exactly where the demolition crew needed them, keeping the street clear. We kept the site running smooth, hauling three loads a day until the interior gut was finished.
Caleb got the bins in when the big haulers couldn't, keeping our renovation timeline on track.
