Downtown Renovation Access
Working the Watt & Shand renovation downtown taught us early on that standard hauling rigs just don't fit in Lancaster's tightest alleys. We watched massive tri-axle trucks grind their gears trying to navigate the narrow service lanes behind Queen Street, often blocking traffic for blocks while stuck on a tight turn. The project manager was sweating the timeline because waste was piling up faster than the big haulers could maneuver in to clear it.
We brought in our hook-lift roll-off trucks, which have a much tighter turning radius than the standard cable-hoist behemoths. Our drivers reversed into the loading dock with inches to spare, dropping a 30-yard container right where the demolition crew needed it. We set up an early morning rotation, swapping full bins before the morning rush hit King Street. The site stayed clean, and the renovation crew never had to stop working.
Caleb's crew got trucks into spots where the big national guys flat-out refused to go.
